You have noticed while reading Beneath the Shadows that some words and phrases are not spelled like we would in the US. [examples: ise vs ize, favor vs favour, to vs tae]. The focus was to write like I'm from Scotland; therefore, I had to rely heavily on my friend, Dale to correct me or give me proper phrases. My favourite phrase is: yer bum is oot the windae - meaning you're talking rubbish.

My mom thought I had misspellings. lol. Rest assured lovely readers - this mini-series is meant to be read like a Scotsman.
